My name is Scott Klement, but my friends usually call me "Scotty."  I was born on January 28th, 1969, and I've lived all my life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  (Thats in the USA, if you're wondering...)

I was married on September 23rd, 2000 to Tracy, the love of my life.  We've been dating since May 1991, and living together since July of 1998.

On May 18, 2005, Tracy and I had a baby named Alexander. We're very proud of our new addition! Pictures can be found in the Alexander Gallery.

My parents are Annie & Roger.  They were married for 29 years before my mother was killed in a tragic car accident in 1997.  My father is still alive, however, and has remarried to a great lady named Carla.

I have two brothers, both younger than me.  No sisters.  Tim is 3.5 years younger, and is currently studying psychology in Chicago, IL.  Kevin is 5.5 years younger and is a philosopher and professor of philosophy.   You can read more about him here.

The main things that I do with my time are:  computers, gaming, and spending quality time with my wife.

Gaming:  I belong to a group of AD&D players,  Sheepshead players (a card game, click here if you want info) , a group that likes to play board games, and by myself I play various computer games.   Whew.

Computers:  My first love is programming.  I was first taught to program at the ripe young age of 11 by my father on an IBM System/34.  Two years or so later, I had an Apple //e, which I used to do yet more programming.  Eventually, I ran a BBS (Bulletin Board System) which I wrote most of the code for.  Soon I found myself writing code for use on many other BBSes of the time, and helping other SysOps to get their system working the way they wanted.   In all, I helped out in the process of running 17 different BBSes.  I've done (useful) programming in 21 different programming or scripting languages (Though, I can't promise that I remember them all at this time!)  Almost all of that has been on a system used by many different people.

As another hobby, I'm currently helping to run an online BBS called Operation DataStorm (ODS), which is now in its 3rd incarnation, the prior two bring "Online Data Systems" and "Online Data Services".

I'm currently the Information Systems Manager at Klement's Sausage Co, Inc., which is a company that was founded by my grandfather and his two brothers.  (Though, I'd like to believe that I'm working there because I'm skilled at my job, and not because of my family connections...)

On the side, I'm the editor of System iNetwork Programming Tips, a newsletter brought to you by the System iNetwork. I'm also a Technical Editor for their magazine, System iNEWS.

Well, I hope that sums me up pretty well.  I'm tempted to post my E-mail address here, but last time I did this, I received a great deal of annoying spam, which I can't seem to get rid of.  (Its too bad that these people are allowed to ruin it for everyone.)
