Hi Tom,

What Sean is trying to tell you is that you need to follow the same
instructions for downloading the beta version as you did for downloading
the current version.   He's point you to that page so that you can read
the instructions.

The instructions say that you can't simply click on the file to download
it -- that'll cause your web browser to try to interpret it as a web page
(thus the XML errors that you're getting)

Instead, you need to right-click it and choose "save target as" or
whatever the command is in your web browser.

This is true of both the "beta" version and the current release.  The only
difference is that the beta version doesn't have a fancy web page with
instructions.
