Problem with Scott's procedure FTP_list

Hi All,

 

we use for some years Scott Klement's excellent FTP APIs without major problems. But there is (sometimes only) one certain situation, where we don't know how to handle it.

The situation:

The Job, which uses the FTP API, runs on status "TIMW" :

 

Subsystem/Job  User            Type  CPU %   Function             Status
  SRC540_40    N175SRMS    BCH    0,0      PGM-SRC540       TIMW

 

When I debug the program, I'm standing on the statement with the FTP_List call:

  

 rc = FTP_List(fd: '  ':99:%addr(incoming): num_files);

 

And nothing happens. The procedure does not end or return.

Actually the directory contains files to be processed!

 

When I cancel and restart the job, then the process is (in most cases) performed normally.

 

Does anyone had similar problems? Has Scott an advice ?
