RE: return parms in http_url_post_xml

Hi,

I need to call a web service from the Iseries to send some data to a
server and return a success or failure flag. I have done this before
using Scott's example's and it all worked fine. I simply wrapped some
XML in a SOAP envelope just like the Example 18 (Currency example) and
it was great. However I am now about to do this for real. I.e. I need to
run in one of our test and ultimately live environments. The process
will be something like read file until EOF with each transaction being
sent to the web service etc.
My question is around the library setup and HTTPAPI. Can I simply copy
the /Copy routines, objects etc. that I require from LIBHTTP into my own
(test/production)library and go from there. Also do I need to concern
myself about security with transaction sending?
Sorry I am new to the web service world, any help would be appreciated.

Regards

D
