Web Services Question

   Hi,


   I am new to the group and just trying to figure out why my predecessor
   used the free web service programs that he used.  They seem to work
   but I'm not sure it's the most efficient way.


   I am trying to accomplish the following (without mirroring what he has
   already done):


   Send a file location and file name (from the 400) to a web service
   that has been created by another internal IT staff member.  The
   intended purpose of that web service is nothing more than just
   processing the identified file and then deleting the file.


   Which open source would most closely match this requirement?
