No doubt about what you are using the in the program. What I was alluding to is that you said you put the request into IE8 and it worked fine. If you put the whole string into the location bar, you are doing a GET. It is mostly irrelevant unless the web service only accepts one or the other. In this case, it should work just fine. As you said, it has been working for few years.

Saturday, I couldn't get oanda to respond to my request typed into the location bar. Today, it is returning "Invalid client_id:xxxxxxx". Does your program work today?
