Just
reference the file using IFS style names.
    e.g.  /qsys.lib/yourlib.lib/yourfile.file/yourmbr.mbr

Subject: FTPAPI Help

Sent this to Scott direct today
before I knew about this list so I thought I would send it to the list as
well since I would like to post some follow-ups.
    ---------------------------------------------

I grabbed FTPAPI a few months
back and I've just now been digging in to it to use it.  One thing that
seems to have cropped up, or perhaps I am just not seeing the obvious (would
not be the first time..hehe).  Does the FTP process assume manipulating
files on the IFS of the AS400?  I looked through the API itself and did
not see any commands to move from the DB2 side of the 400 to the IFS side,
but when trying to do some change dir commands and such I am getting errors
that they are missing, which is leading me to my conclusion about FTPAPI
'looking' at the IFS by default.
Any light you could shed would
    be much appreciated.
    Thanks much,

Brian
