Eureka!
Sender: James Viney <James.Viney@xxxxxxxxxx>
Hi all,
Thanks for your help over the past couple of weeks. I've finally got my
project working!
For your info.....
1) I had to get round my 302 problem by just sending directly to the
url the returned header told me to redirect to. Not sure why they use the
first IP address but who cares. However, it does prove that it will return
a 302 rather than a 100, so perhaps the API's should be amended to handle
this.
2) The SSL errors I was having was because of lack of authority to the
certificate stores from my profile. Unfortunately the error message
received was so unhelpful I would never have guessed. It was lucky that a
travelling consultant passed by and happened to tell me about a similar
problem.
3) I had to use the SOAPAction parameter for their server to accept my
XML. It firstly threw back a 500 error and returned XML indicating it was
expecting an "ActionHeader". The actions were listed in the WDSL the
company provided and to my amazement, my simply passing in the relevant
action in the parameter, the XML was accepted and results were returned.
I can't express how over the moon I am that it's all working now......just
in time as well!
Thanks again,
James
