SOLVED, Re: HTTPAPIR4 won't compile in V4R2 compiler
Thanks, Mr. Klement, for having me check the version. What I had
uploaded from my WinDoze box and what was actually in LIBHTTP were two
different things.
How could that possibly be?
It seems that when I uploaded it earlier this week, I'd failed to notice
that nothing was going into the QSYS.LIB file system, because the box I
was sending it to had been set (years ago, for testing FTP installation
scripts) so that the FTP server would default to the IFS Root (intended
to provide our installer with a worst-case scenario to deal with).
Naturally, the "quote site namefmt 0" and the "cd %LIB%" both failed,
and so I ended up with everything uploading to the IFS root instead,
which I only noticed when I tried the upload again this morning.
So I was trying to compile a version (1.20) that I'd left in place when
I'd tried to upload it for another project, some eight months ago (and
then completely forgotten I'd uploaded it).
Once I added "echo cd /qsys.lib/qgpl.lib >>%TEMPFILE%" to UPLOAD.BAT,
right after it enters the user-ID and password into the upload script,
it got where it needed to go just fine.
Now, all I needed was to adjust CONFIGR4 so that HAVE_INT64 was always
undefined (to compensate for having a V4R2 compiler on a V4R4 box), and
everything seems to be working fine now.
And looking over at my 3489, I see that compilation just completed
without a hitch.
Don't mind me; I'm just your average garden-variety idiot, who probably
ought to be institutionalized.
