Hi Jon,

I'm a bit stunned by this development.  HTTP servers/clients are able to 
send any headers they want to -- and when an agent doesn't understand 
the headers, they typically ignore them.  For example, I could make up a 
header named "X-Scott-Klement-Is-Cool: Yes" and send it, and it 
shouldn't matter to anyone.  The servers and proxies that receive the 
header won't understand it, of course -- but it wouldn't break anything, 
they'd simply ignore it.

So while I agree that many older tools don't understand the Expect: 
header, I don't see why that would result in a proxy error.
