Yes, that'll workaround the problem.

However, HTTPAPI shouldn't behave this way.  If https_init() fails, you 
shouldn't have to call https_cleanup().  (https_cleanup() should only be 
necessary if https_init was successfully and you wanted to change 
something in the SSL environment, or explicitly unload the SSL environment)

Hopefully in the new beta that I posted, it's working the way I intended 
it to work.
