You need to deploy the EXPAT and HTTPAPIR4 *SRVPGM objects.
So the LIBHTTP library on your production machine need only contain
those two objects.
You could also place them someplace else. But if you have the *SRVPGM
in different libraries on the development mahcine vs. the production
one, you'd need to make sure that programs you create that use HTTPAPI
are bound to the service program with a *LIBL qualifier and not an
explicit library.
Example:
Display Program Information
Display 4 of
Program . . . . . . . : EXAMPLE10 Library . . . . . . .
: LIBHTTP
Owner . . . . . . . . : QPGMR
Program attribute . . : RPGLE
Detail . . . . . . . . : *SRVPGM
Type options, press Enter.
5=Display
Service
Opt Program Library Signature
HTTPAPIR4 LIBHTTP C8E3E3D7C1D7C9F0F0F1404040404040
Would need to look like:
Display Program Information
Display 4 of
Program . . . . . . . : EXAMPLE10 Library . . . . . . .
: LIBHTTP
Owner . . . . . . . . : QPGMR
Program attribute . . : RPGLE
Detail . . . . . . . . : *SRVPGM
Type options, press Enter.
5=Display
Service
Opt Program Library Signature
HTTPAPIR4 *LIBL C8E3E3D7C1D7C9F0F0F1404040404040
