I think some simple documentation would go a long way, here.  I wish I 
had time to write it :-)

But, stuff like "500 error":  This means that the server you're talking 
to detected an error, and instead of sending you the response document 
you requested, has sent you an error document that you can read to 
understand the problem.   Please note that the error does not originate 
with HTTPAPI, it's sent from the HTTP server, so the best people to ask 
for clarification of the meaning of the message are the folks who run 
the server.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a docs system like that for HTTPAPI?    I 
wish I wasn't so incapacitated right now, I'd definitely get something 
going.
