Re: Install crashed version 1.29
Hi Ian,
Sorry about the troubles. Unfortunately, I have no way to test a
release that old. I have to rely on good people like you to assist me
with things like that.
Can you try this? Open the *LIBL/QSRVSRC,HTTPAPI2 member mentioned in
your error messages, scroll to the bottom of the member and find this...
should be the last two lines:
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*PRV) SIGNATURE('HTTPAPISSL000')
ENDPGMEXP
Based on your error messages, in V5R1, it was not allowed to have an
export block with no exports? (The exports do absolutely nothing when
you have *PRV with a hard-coded signature -- but perhaps IBM realized
that later so removed this restriction in newer releases.) So replace
the above two lines with something like this:
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*PRV) SIGNATURE('HTTPAPISSL000')
EXPORT SYMBOL(HTTP_DEPRECATED_URL_GET)
ENDPGMEXP
Save the change and try recompiling, see if that works better. Let us
know what you find.
