Re: [Ftpapi] HTTPAPI on a V5R2 box with https -- is that even remotely possible

IIRC, V5R2 would have the same level of restrictions that V6R1 did.

However, at this point, I am no longer able to support OS levels earlier than V6R1 because I simply do not have access to a machine even old enough to compile back to V5R4 (much less V5R2).  This makes it impossible to test code changes.

If you can find an old copy of HTTPAPI, though, it should work.

We've just gotten something from a prospect whose production box is on V5R2. And without going into any confidential details, they want something that would involve HTTPAPI connecting to our secured Amazon AWS server. We had to open up a special port with relaxed SSL, only reachable from our office IP address, just to get our V6 box talking to it; is it even remotely possible to get that to work from a V5R2 box?
