I retrofitted my changes to 1.54, and it's working great.
I have modified HTTPAPI so that it accepts a list of HTTP headers and optionally allows upload/download of strings instead of IFS paths.

My version of HTTPAPI command does not support *PUT Request Type. How do you mean that the utility supports it?
