Re: YAJL - Public *Use Rights
I don't know how you are using the tool -- but, it's no different from anything else on the system. If you're using YAJLINTO, YAJLDTAGEN, YAJLGEN, etc then they are just programs that need to be called. YAJL and YAJLR4 are, likewise, just normal service programs.
Obviously if you are reading/writing JSON from the IFS, you'll need authority to the file you're reading/writing. Likewise, if you're generating a member with YAJLGEN, you'll need authority to the source file/member you are generating.
No magic here... it's just regular access.

Scott,
Reason I'm asking this is to install and use your tool on public server PUB400.
We can only install tools in private libraries we own.
I asked if this tool couldn't be installed globally instead of everybody installing his own YAJL library.
Holger (QSECOFR) replied this is possible if public can be granted only *USE rights on library YAJL.
Thanks
Peter

Yes, it's just a normal set of programs/service programs
