RE: HTTPAPI Timeout issue

Operating system?
HTTPAPI version?

Scott updated HTTPAPI to support the latest TLS. Because of the messages, it would appear you are on that release or later but your OS is either down level or have something turned off. More info on the IBMi side...

The timeout could be because of the TLS version mismatch?

You said you can ping the api.stripe.com site from the IBMi? Are ports 80 and 443 open also? I had to have the network guy put in an exception in our firewall to allow outgoing connections. You may need that as well.

Thanks for the example Mike, I tried that and here is the final entry in the log file:

SetError() #7: Timeout occurred while trying to connect to server!

Now I saw the following entries a little higher up:

SSL version 2 support disabled
SSL version 3 support disabled
old interface to TLS version 1.0 support enabled support for TLS 1.0 unavailable support for TLS 1.1 unavailable support for TLS 1.2 unavailable

Not sure what all that means, but I'm assuming that's part of the problem.
