This would be a reasonable place to look up the program(s) to call, 
though I don't think I'd do it there... I'd do that lookup logic in 
FTP_open(), in case someone changes the exit point during the life of 
the actgrp.

The call to the exit program should be placed in FTP_putraw, FTP_getraw, 
et al.
